eVionyx is engaged in the development and commercialization of its Revolutionary Power Cell™ (RPC) Technology for applications in the Portable Electronics, Stationary Power, Transportation and Power Tool markets. Collectively, these markets represent several trillions of dollars of business activity.

In pursuit of its mission, eVionyx and its subsidiaries have:

  • Raised $80 million in funding since its founding in 1995.
  • Established three subsidiaries:
    1. 1) eVionyx Taiwan focused on transportation based applications for Taiwan.
    2. 2) eVtronics focused on portable electronics based applications.
    3. 3) eVtronics Taiwan focused on portable electroncis based applications for Taiwan.
  • Established multiple facilities in Elmsford and Hawthorne, New York, Taipei and Jungli, Taiwan.

The company has been generously supported by its investment partners, Niagara Mohawk and Cheng Xin Technology Development Corp, as well as by grants from NYSERDA, NSF, DOE, Navy, Army, and DARPA.

Current R&D Opportunities

We are currently seeking strategic partners to co-develop and sponsor product development activities focused on particular markets or applications. Program opportunities currently exist for portable electronic devices such as "AAA" batteries and other high energy and high power products, stationary power units above 1 kW.

Strategic Relationship Opportunities

eVionyx is continually interested in strategic relationships with suppliers, OEM's and distributors who have the ability to utilize or market its RPC products. These relationships can take the form of licenses (see below), joint ventures or joint development partnerships.

Licensing Opportunities

eVionyx has opportunities worldwide for companies or organizations wishing to become early partners with us through the licensing of the RPC based products. Licenses for distributorships by product, by territory, or application are still available.

Investment Opportunities

Portable Electronics

eVionyx has a subsidiary, eVtronics Pacific, recently formed to take advantage of the opportunity for RPC application in the exploding portable electronic markets. The ability of the RPC to take on many shapes and sizes not only provides an opportunity to serve existing products, but also opens the door for the creation of new products, taking advantage of the high power and high energy afforded by metal-air technology.

Stationary Power

eVionyx is currently developing products envisioned for stationary power applications. With product scale above 1 kilowatt and potentially into the megawatt scale, the eVionyx mmRPC opens a wide spectrum of possibilities from energy storage to emergency power to baseload possibilities. Opportunities exist for investing in an eVpower subsidiary that will focus on all stationary applications of the RPC technology.
